GMC Terrain-input?

I've been looking at getting a bigger vehicle since our boys are teenagers now and it's very cramped if we all go somewhere. I really want a Tahoe, but with as much as I drive (I have put 36k on the TL since June '10) I can't bring myself to buy something that gets 17mpg or worse.

These seem to have all of the things I want/need and it gets decent gas mileage (plus it's way cheaper for a newer model). Does anyone have one or have any experience with them?

Ford edge or the ecoboost flex btw. Both should get around 25mpg I think. Maybe more with the flex.

Edge is too small-I like it though. We need a 3rd row. The flex is just too f'ing ugly.

I'm a big fan of Acuras ... MDX, 3rd row, awd. Honestly, running premium should never be a "deal-breaker" for any vehicle.

The terrain don't have 3rd row seating. If you have to have 3rd row you have to move up to the Acadia or something completely different.

I know, but throw 15 mpg on top of it and it's too big of a hike in gas for me. I am a huge Acura fan after having this TL.
