need a new breakfast/24hr diner in the dallas area

since they shut down metro diner across the street from baylor i have yet to find a good greasy spoon dinner in the east dallas/central dallas area. say what you want about metro but i liked it

oh and i'm about to get off of work in less than a hour and don't have to be back till sunday

yea awhile back, baylor finally bought it and the flower shop next to it

they still have their other location in oak cliff but it's out of the way and just not the same. i have been going there my entire life. hell i remember going there with my grandma at 6 years old when my mom was in labor with my little sister at baylor. fucking sucks that it's gone

I'm pretty sure Lakewood Cafe (I think that's the name) is still around and it's open late. It's on Abrams just north of Gaston on the west side of the street. I haven't been there in a while, but I remember it being pretty decent.
