  • I'm employed again! (And Hello)

After my Northrop assignment finished up in July, I went to work for another outfit that put me on the road and was going to last through Dec... on postal automation machines... good pay, per diem, etc.

That one didn't last very long due to a couple of factors, one of them being m fault and the other being a short temper and vindictive attitude of my team leader of the new team that I joined (and had not yet met).

Last few months have been rough, but I got on with Navistar, surprisingly without having seen the post in the Jobs forum - I was just about to post up about current openings when I saw Trblshooter's post there.

So I'll be an electronic technician at the Navistar Truck Specialty location in Garland. Programming / configuring the user defined I/O boxes and other peripherals as well as installing / testing various options on the finished vehicles.

Money is decent and if I can hang on to the temp position I've been painted a picture of a possible career there based on my background and skills vs. their needs.

I was kind of a hermit and not real happy while looking for a job, hell it sucks sending resume's out and getting no replies, and of course money gets tight, etc. and there just wasn't a whole lot of exciting fun stuff going on with me. So I'm excited about starting work and getting some paychecks, getting caught up, finishing my car, which is really only a few days worth of wiring and tightening up the turbo kit, running the valves, putting the exhaust on, etc.... I'd love to make it to the next cruise and be doing some test / tune / racing soon!

So, hello everyone... hopefully good things are right around the corner for me.

Search for it, newb! It's already been ported over, if not by him, by someone else. It's still good for a laugh.

I remember that shit when I was going by 94vert or 94gtvert back in canada. Never could remember my old stuff, so I created a new one when I got my Fox. I been around this block a time or ten.
