  • Part II of What's the point. (mom kills her son and shoots herself)

Wanna thank everyone for their positive responses on the first thread. The father and his girlfriend have made a memorial page in Eryk's (son) memory. The father (Rod) has made it through the beginning of this recovery, with all the love and support of family and friends. They are making an effort with the justice system, to make sure no one in the county has to go through this again. Maybe later Rod will go a step further and go to the state or what ever is above the county and make a bigger push for this act.

Here's Eryk's memorial page. If you choose to comment, I am sure Rod will be tickled to know, others out there send their support. Anything else will be deeply appreciated. http://www.facebook.com/pages/In-Mem...67501633285797

    Again thanks for everything.

I'm really glad that he has decided to bring purpose to his son's murder. It's such a horrid situation, and I hope to see a law pushed forward in his memory.

I don't have Facebook so i can't comment but he has my support on Eryks Law. As a father to a son and i can't even image whats he is going through. After reading " I will miss you buddy, Daddy" really tore me up.
You remember the stories John use to tell us about the the three chinamen playing Fantan? This guy runs up to them and says, "Hey, the world's coming to an end!" and the first one says, "Well, I best go to the mission and pray," and the second one says, "Well, hell, I'm gonna go and buy me a case of Mezcal and six whores," and the third one says "Well, I'm gonna finish the game." I shall finish the game, Doc.

I would like to see police presence when the custody exchanges are made under similar circumstances.
