Id love a hog. Just finished up 3 pounds of jerky.

Ground up a bunch today for summer sausage. I've got about 40 pounds of it. Going to smoke it in a day or so.

This last hunt wasnt worth a shit...Nice weather but fool moon all 3 days...cameras showed most where moving at night..seen a few doe and buddy shot a spike but nothing big. So far that is 5 spikes killed and another 6 or so seen...I have never seen so many spikes....

Of the ones killed all but one was....The others on camera are hard to say but the one I saw on Thursday was for sure older...He was a light brown and very large body size. I wish I would have got him but I walked up on him and he took off.....

On another note this was caught on camera the other night..A Stag whitetail...From reading he is a buck that nuts never dropped and stays in velvet all the time and never sheds...

Done for the year.
Got a 10 point and turkey opening day so had not been back out till last weekend. Got their and my feeders were empty so all I killed was a fifth of Crown!
Buddy got another porcupine, and a doe that at first he thought had a tumor on her. Ended up being a bad shot by someone else. Had a small entry on her upper back and a large 9" hole on the other side. You could literally see her shoulder blade and spine through the healed wound......
