wow that's WAY down south of Dallas

well we have 4 hunters on 200 acres and we pay $350 a gun... opening weekend is the only weekend that we would ever have all 4 guns there though.. usually it is just 2 at a time just because of everyone's schedules.

BTW 2000 gram boots and carhart arctic bibs and coat and some thermals I'm good for -12 degrees. I can get a hour before I start getting to cold.

10 does and two shooter bucks. One came up and sniffed me. I was afraid to roll over and look behind me. All I heard was a snortwheeze.

I waited and looked back to see a group of deer behind me at about 350. If I would have had some reloads and more trigger time I would have drilled one. I let them walk.

I just can't shoot unless I know its going to die. A lot of peope drive deer here but I don't. So they will all eventually funnel to my land. I've got until the 11'th to put two does down.

    Heading back out tonight.

That all depends on the area, what the land looks like and when it was last hunted...Like said that is not much land but for one maybe 2 people it would work...Seems a few years back there was a moster killed on a lease that was only 15 acres....

1 hunter maybe 2 depending on how thick the woods are.
Where is the lot and how many deer are seen regularly?

28 acre isn't really much land for rifle hunting

Got my bail blinds set up and corn pile out. Going to sleep early.

Good luck everyone. I hope to shoot my deer before all the job residents come and start blasting.
