I'm up to 4 does. Got them all skined and letting them hang. I had to do the one I shot tonight. Spined it and it sent some bone in the guts. I got the main parts. My 4 backstraps haha. And loins and odds and ends.

I was just sitting here considering taking a couple days to go hunt, but i have to get my dads car done this week (hopefully) for his birthday (12/12) which means I'll probably miss the rut completely !

Now on to the bear thing, there ARE Black Bears up where I hunt, the guy who owns the land next to our place was telling me and my buddy about the state releasing them to try and control the wild pig population. Haven't seen one of those yet though.

Sweet, on the bears. Had no idea that they were releasing them. I was down in the river bottoms on Monday and it was evident that the hogs were way out of control as, in one location, there was a 100'x100' area that had been freshly rooted. Had to get the hell out of there as I had my bloodhound with me and there was no way I could have gotten him out if we ran across them. It had rained the day before and there were more tracks than you could count. Where we were was within about 100 yards of where I had tracked them to the previous year, though I'm sure they move around a good bit...
