If you went to Big Town mall in the late 90's it was basically abandoned.

That's odd. While I was researching the mall, I came across a comment about a barber shop that used to be there that had nudie mags as part of the customer reading material. I now know why my dad would give me $5 to go occupy myself while he got his hair cut. This will make a good story to tell my mom.

I tried finding some pics of when it was the indoor soccer arena. I used to play there back in the very early 90s or so.

This is a very early pic. The soccer arena was in the building in the front left of the picture which was originally an ice skating rink.

Six Flags Mall has officially met its demise as well. Doesn't look like we'll be getting any urban decay style pics out of it anytime soon though.

ARLINGTON - Six Flags Mall is a virtual ghost town, with only an outlet store and movie theater left to pull people in.

Now, it will get a new owner and city leaders say its retail days are likely over.

"The property could be developed into a medical research facility, it could be converted to a research facility in general [or] it could be an incubator for start-up manufacturers," said Arlington Chamber of Commerce President Wes Jurey.
How do we forget ourselves? How do we forget our minds?

Is the Bronco Bowl still around? First place I saw Pearl Jam and Sound Garden in the real early 90's and a few years later heard it was going to be shut down.

No, it is now a Home Depot. Lot's of memories in that place.

After all the searching and reminiscing I did over the Forum 303 Mall, I may head over to the Six Flags Mall sometime to walk around and snap some pics and see it one last time before anything gets demo'd. Not something I think I'll do alone, though.
