    RIP to the deceased, and my thoughts are with the family.


    I'm absolutely stunned about him being in custody on hold for ICE. Since when do other cities around here care about immigration status?

          All apartments get that way, it's only a matter of time. I remember the apartment complex over off Washington st. in Arlington. They just razed the whole damn complex.

            They have done that to about 5-6 in South Irving within the last 2 years. It hasn't seemed to help much.

              There is a type of housing warfare that does work for inner cities. You price them out of the city. It worked for download Los Angeles and other major urban cities where it has been tried. It works by rebuilding the city, cleaning it up, and then raise rent until they can't afford it, and price them out of the area.

                  That is currently happening in Washington DC. Apparently there are some neighborhoods with people being priced out. I can see it happening to East Dallas one day.

                    I think it's a good thing, honestly. Disperse the trash among the outlaying cities, dilute the pollution where it's easier to control.
