Anyone had one installed lately? Where did you have it done? Guessing 3M is a good brand? One brand better than others?

When I worked at Autobahn I had the tint guy throw some clear bra on my front end. The 3m works out fantastic.

According to what I had seen online, materials run about $200-$300 depending on supplier. So seeing a quote of $1200 was a bit of a shock. I was thinking (usually gets me in trouble) labor would probably be $200-$300. I was wrong....really wrong!! Looks like the new winter car is going to get some rock chips and I will just live with it.

I can have the bumper repainted for less than that. I'd understand a $60k car, but I had my wifes old acura bumper painted for $200.
