I think of it like this, most people will watch 1-2 hours of TV a day and instead of doing that I would rather participate in my TV time.

I promise you there are worse miscreants in this society than little 'ole me. I'm honest to a fault, and I don't leech off society.
I feel for you that someone with a heightened vocabulary gets under your skin to such a degree. Either that or your just projecting because your Cowboys continue to do what they do best, and that is find new ways at becoming even more proficient at losing football games.

i haven't played much recently but when i do get caught up in a game it will typically save me money by keeping me at home. there is typically a big decline in food and drink expenses for those few weeks.www.hppmotorsports.com

I only play if there's a game that I really like, and I'll play like a fiend for a while, then I won't play a game for weeks or months. When Skyrim comes out, I'll probably disappear for a few weeks, but once I beat it, I'll be done until Mass Effect 3 in March."Any dog under 50lbs is a cat and cats are pointless." - Ron Swanson

Originally posted by 3.90x3.62 View PostYou guys crack me up with the thesaurus crap. It's called having a photographic memory and a college education. And being in two different demanding careers that require you to use your brain in order to do your job effectively. And ask Dr. Dave just how fun it be to not be able to mentally let go of the sometimes graphic nature of being in pre-hospital or definitive care medicine. He handles it fine. I didn't and ended up in PTSD class and prematurely ended a career path.

We have a xbox 360 and a wii. I play a fee hours a week. Mostly COD, NBA2K11 and the new batman. I'm 26, married, no kids, and about 55 hours a week. It is just a good stress reliever.99 Mustang Project JSTA2V

Dave just gets bent when he thinks I'm speaking outside the scope of Paramedicine.
Not realizing that all you do is spend hours upon hours doing your clinical rotations with ER docs (ER rotations) , Anesthesiologist (ET Tube requirements), Obstetrics (Requirements for child birth either vaginal or cesarean), Trauma at Parkland/JPS Ft. Worth, Advanced Medical Terminology, etc....There is just no way possible you are taught or exposed anything outside of State EMT-P course requirements.Actually, I'm a NREMT-P, but I wouldn't want to make things too complicated around here in regards to the difficulties related to that.
