For those of you in favor of this new, lawless society, are you willing to die to provide it to your progeny?

It's all in the breeding, but they'll be just as prepared.

You didn't answer the question though, are you willing to die for this new society that you propose? Are you willing to be part of the egg that makes the omelette?

Anyone that can't unequivaciably (sp) say yes, needs to stop day dreaming and back-seat driving.

Ya, why not? It's essentially what our forefathers did before we fucked this country up too.

The sad thing is, that it would only hit the reset button, and thin the heard. There would soon be a different set of men looking for power, and plenty of people looking for "a better life," willing to follow their lead.

Why even have a president? Because the general masses are more comfortable believing that someone else is in control.

Lolz, I'll admit, I didn't bother to read the whole thread.

Willingness to die is meaningless. We all die without meaning, just as we all live without it. Sure, we find "reasons" for everything, but just because we tell ourselves something doesn't make it factual. We're just part of a big machine that is already halfway expired.

On the seatbelt thing...If the initial impact causes you to be knocked out or pushed from behind the wheel, you are no longer in control of the vehicle. Your secondary impact could kill someone because you can't stop or control the vehicle after the first impact Also, watch some video of crash dummies. Them things fly around when they have an impact, you could kill one of your passengers as well...
I know seatbelts seem like a minor thing and I am all for individual responsibility, but this does affect other people.
Now on motorcycle helmets, knock yourself out. I don't care if you don't wear a helmet. You're only gonna hurt yourself when you split your head open. Of course, some of those fools will live and not have insurance and we'll all pay for their hospital bill, and their disability, etc...

It is a perfect cover for those who are in control.

We should outlaw pencils. I might slip while carrying one, drive it through my eyeball in the fall while on walking on a bridge, slip over the edge and land on a kayaker, killing him instantly.

In fact, more people die in car accidents than just about anything else. We should just cut out all the bullshit and outlaw cars. That would solve everything.

It's true. People are the only creatures on this planet that ascribe themselves importance. "We're all part of the same compost heap."
