I wonder what it would cost to try and year one a fastback together with this 15k shell?

Bronco. The only retards that spell it "broncho" are the retards at University of Central Oklahoma.

This is genius on Ford's part. But like others I want a coupe or fastback.

The least they could do is reinforce the torque boxes like SN-95 cars. I might buy one if they did that.

Nissan did something like this 13 years ago, kinda. The sold a few thousand factory restored Datsun 240z's That were basically like new.

Yea, kinda similar. Nissan bought original 240z's from owners, fully restored them and sold them to dealers for around $25k. Of course they turned around and sold them for quite a bit more.

This, of course, is an entirely brand new body. I guess it wouldn't meet crash test standards so there is no way Ford could build up a new car from it.

I think I'd buy one anyway.
