There aren't any "rules" for thread deletions. There aren't many "rules" at all. No Spam, Work Warnings, and don't curse in the thread title is pretty much it. Hell, I'd like to see it come back, because I was in Cat5 Hurricane mode, but it is probably best if it stays gone. I don't think I've ripped anyone a new asshole that hard since the original JITB 15 minutes incident, and that was 7 years ago.

I know there aren't any rules, but generally when a thread gets deleted of that type the masses call for a thread revival, and the thread may or may not be brought back (generally they are brought back, and if deleted again, they're brought back and locked.) All I'm saying is that every member should be subject to the same type of actions. I'm not a "famous member" by any stretch of the imagination and I'm also not a newb, but I'd expect to have a thread brought back from the dead if I pulled a pappapepper, it's all part of posting here on DFWM.
