I have always drank scotch straight or with a single ice cube, but I am no expert.

Yes breathing through my nose, I mean its not repulsive but its meh not something I'd drink all night. I think maybe I'm trying to drink it like beer or a cocktail? Yes I have a heater haha
I just put a few cubes in it and not even two fingers. Took 3-4 sips, then put a splash of gingerale in it. Glass number two!

Yah heater isn't on, Ill try a drop of water or two. I mean its better than its better than the chivas in my cabinet but I just want to mix something with it. It's definitely different but not terrible....

I dont drink scotch to get shit-housed. I drink it because I like the taste. On the rocks is perfectly fine, some people hit it with a splash of water.

The purpose is to enjoy it. So long as you aren't pouring 6oz coca-cola over it we're good

well, my dad is in town, so we went to the liquor store and I grabbed a bottle of Booker's, and he got some scotch. He's big on Islay scotch, and he got something from Campbeltown. Springbank. He's really big on the peaty Islay stuff, and I guess the Campbeltown distilleries are known for being really peaty.

I had one Booker's with a cube, and now I'm on my THIRD scotch with a couple drops of water.

I think my palate might have finally turned a corner that I wasn't sure it was ever going to turn. I think I'm giving the bourbon to the wife and buying some nice oily/peaty Scotch
