I had those exact specifications when I was looking for a truck and ended up finding a 2000 F-150 5.4L with towing package & upgraded shocks/etc. It's done me good so far. 217,000 miles and no issues. (Rebuilt motor). Don't fear the miles.

I got 13k trade in for my 2003 F150 last year, granted it was a King Ranch with 80k miles and in excellent condition, but I think the only way you will find one of those for 5k is either really high mileage or tore up. Maybe if you get lucky and find a 2 wheel drive 98-2000 you can find a good one for 5k especially if it has the 4.6 instead of the 5.4

Ins towed it off to a salvage auto auction.

I do have a programmer for it I wont be needing if you're interested.

Back on topic, been looking at a lot of 65-70 F100's & C10's. Will most likely end up with one of those. Will post pics after the purchase. If any one here has one for sale or knows of one please pass the info along.

              Thanks!!!

That's a little more of a "project" than I'm looking for. Thanks for the offer though!!

Shit get a Toyota. You could get a nice early 2000 model for that, and they are built to last.
