Custom Western style boots

i wear justin work boots, most of the time, just because they're comfortable. they're about $100 at tractor supply, and they usually last me about 2-years. my daughter and wife said that i need a nice pair of boots, so i went to cavenders, and their prices are ridiculous. ...even for my justin work boots, they were $40 higher than tractor supply! ....i'm just not paying $500 for something i wear on my feet! i guess i'm just a cheap ass.

Cavender's isn't the place to go if you are looking for a custom designed boot (I'm a manager at one). If you want something that is a true custom design you will have to go to an independent boot maker. Most manufacturers, Justin, Tony Lama, Anderson Bean, etc. require you to purchase a minimum of 6 boots, and then, you are waiting 6 months for them. Most will cost you around or more than $1k What do you have in mind as far as Texas themed?

If we're just talking off the shelf boots, Twisted X boots fit me the best. The holy grail of western stores is Harry's in San Saba, while we're at it.

I have 4 friends that got some custom boots made by Wild Bill in the West End. Boots came out nice, not sure on price.

Yeah, we carry some lucchese, depends on what you want, however we can order anything in the catalog. Typical wait is 3-4 months

I believe the full flag boot is a wide square toe, they are made by Corral Boots, not sure if you could call them and get a pair made in round/pointed toe.

Leddy's is the greatest. The reason for the back order is, they custom make the boot to your feet, and every piece of it is hand made.

I currently wear double h for my work boots, but I want a "nice" pair and custom for my nice pair. For work boots I have put my double h through hell and back. I love them.

I cant do the round toe or small square toe boots myself. I go all out with the big square toes.
