SYNC does not manage the iPhone, just streams music from it via Bluetooth. Well, when it even works, total POS!

Call me when you have a minute and I'll walk you through it.

Have you tried using Google Maps to send navigation to your truck? That's about the only cool thing I can think of SYNC does.

Go to Google maps, get the directions listed out, in the right top corner, hit the SEND button, select Car and enter the info. Pretty cool actually. When you get into the turck, hit the SYNC button and say "Services" It should come up and say "Google Maps has sent..." or something like that.

Hey screw you pal! It's people like you that are making it harder and harder for me to find an actual CD of music these days. I don't have an iPhone, or iTunes or iPod or any of that iShit. I just wanna walk in, talk to some smelly hippy at the music store, and be able to purchase an actual product.

Sorry not really aimed at you but just a general rant

i'm going to try that...that sounds pretty cool. my sync system works well, but it seems ridiculous that it doesn't show text, etc from my iphone. (artist, song name, etc) what's the deal with that? does it need a windows based phone to do all of that?

You must like to look at the pics of band members eh? lol j/k

Seriously embrace technology and move with it. Compare what you pay for your CD to the one of the same albums out here www.gomusicnow.com

I love my SYNC for Bluetooth communication while driving and that I can plug my MicroSD thumb drive in and play MP3's.

Mine only shows when text message is received and date /time. It will then read the text aloud but it doesn't scroll it in text form.

Also a CD must be have text labeling to display artist, song, name. If it's an old CD it will likely just show Track 1, Track 2.. etc..

One of the advantages of making your own CD's from MP3's is the text labeling.
