Yup. I think its cheaper to fly into Oakland sometimes too so that's worth looking into.

True. I'm an AA slut and scrounged up round trip tickets for $180 per person at SFO.

FYI Virgin flys DFW-SFO fairly cheap too.

I did Vegas last weekend, but will target SFO next trip. Lots of stuff to do there... I love the Bay Area.

Fly into Reno, rent a car, head 45 min south into the mountains to the Hyatt Regency in Incline Village, NV on the north shore of Lake Tahoe. Hike, kayak, enjoy the awesome food at the Lone Eagle Grill...

I did Vegas last weekend, but will target SFO next trip. Lots of stuff to do there... I love the Bay Area.

I moved here from the Bay Area. There is a lot of fun stuff to do there for sure, and tons of good food.

Just got back from Los Angeles. We did all the typical tourist stuff (Hollywood Walk of Fame, Hollywood Sign, Chinese theater, etc...) but I was able to get tickets onto "Lets Make A Deal" and was a contestant. I wasn't picked, but was still really fun to be on the show and see how it all works.

This was to surprise my wife for her Birthday. I ended up getting buy one get one free tickets when Virgin America was running their promo. Round trip for both of us was $243. So I couldn't resist...espeically since we had to cancel our trip to Europe due to my new job.

Rented a condo through VRBO for $99/nt 1 mile from Hollywood Blvd made the deal even sweeter.

It was a fantastic weekend. We felt like we were there for 4 or 5 days.
