  • Owner of travelling Liberty Bell dies

David Hall took a functioning replica of the Liberty Bell to funerals to honor fallen heros, and he himself passed this last week. I first met David two years ago at my nephew's funeral, Army SPC Justin Harbor. I most recently saw David on September 9, 2011 at SPC Mike Roberts' funeral.

David Hall, RIP. You were a great person, and thanks for what you did.

      What a loss.

There are few sounds out there that can make a grown man cry and that bell was one of them.

Glad to see his son is going to carry on.
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

I was doing pretty good at Michael's funeral until I heard that bell. It was like getting kicked in the gut by a horse.
