  • Lake Levels?

    Has any of the rain around there helped the lakes out any? Headed back from Iraq in a few and was just wondering what Im in for.

    bridgeport is down like 15ft and eagle mountain is down about 8 ft

      Friend from out west told me Ivie is down 34ft now. He said its almost down to the original river levels. Wonder how fork is holdin up?

        Lake Whitney is around 16' low.
        The pics below are of my favorite local lake, Martin Creek Lake.

        Very sad, I cannot get my heavy jon boat in there. I bet the catfish would bite anything right now being that low.

        Been checking online at the level of the Sabine River, and the current level is 2.1", less than knee deep, no trolling around in it ether.

              Lake Travis during the 91 Flood when it was 715 feet



              Lake Travis' level taken last month in sept was 619.1 feet

                        Fork is low, but the water just turned over and the fishing was good this weekend. Fish are moving into shollow water again. Ray Hubbard is hurting too but been catching good fish there also.

                          Ill be out at hubbard alot when I first get back to the states. My dad just got my 245 offshore powerhead back to the shop from the builder. Got to get it broke in and see if it will spin up around 8500 again. If anyone wants to burn some gas with us come on out. Plan to hit fork some too.

                              Grew up fishin both lakes. I can find em. Is workin mans weeknight tournament still going on hubbard or did they quit for the year? I doubt we will fish a tournament on fork until the dodge truck megabass comes up.

                              DO you ever fish any jc outdoors touney's? Mark (the owner) puts on a pretty good tournament.
