new dallas sheriff/constable car color?

i was on my way in to work going northbound on 35 and when i took the exit for inwood i noticed a crown vic cruiser on the should with an officer shooting radar. the car was brown like that but when i passed him the sun was in my eye and i could not read what it was

last i remember the sheriff's cars were white with a black hood/trunk and the constable's cars were solid white. did they change up the paint scheme?

I've witnessed a guy in suv do a quick burnout leaving a intersection little did he know the maroon crown vic behind him was a undercover car. I couldn't help but lmao as I drove by while he was getting lit up with the red an blues.

our constable drives a black charger with flat black lettering, you get used to it and notice him pretty easy, but it was a bitch the first few months

we have a gold squad (probably what you saw) along with a few other colors. they are not the norm just a few special colored cars...
