I can see why someone would make that mistake cause i made it too watching the replay earlier. They both have a simular black/white paint job on the car. Correct me if Im wrong but I thought during a wreck that indy drivers we're taught to get their hands off the wheel?

looking at the replay, it looked like Wheldon was following a white car that was probably 2 car lengths ahead. The car infront then got on the brakes and there wasnt anything Wheldon could do to avoid or slow down.

Sad deal. I actually met Dan at a bar in Sonoma a couple months ago when the Indy cars were running the same weekend as World Challenge. Seemed like a pretty nice dude, I didn't know he had kids . Big ovals aren't for open wheel cars IMO.
