The Movie Tavern in Bedford at 183 and Central has mixed seating with both fixed and office style chairs. Food is decent there.

I like Studio Movie Grill - go to Facebook, where they have free movie passes. I setup like 6 email addresses to get more passes. In the last 2 years I've seen 40-50 movies & only paid for 3 or 4 of them. All the rest on FB free passes. The food is actually pretty decent, but a bit pricey. So I rarely eat a meal there. But soft drinks & popcorn there are cheaper than typical movie theaters. And the soft drinks have free refills.
I'll never go to a "regular" movie theater again...........

We go to the one on Central and 183 in Bedford and like it. Their ticket prices are better than most, food is edible and not over priced, and we have the Tankers that get filled for like $7.
It's not great at anything, but I just prefer that to newer theaters.

You already mentioned this but for future reference if you want to go, avoid busy days, Friday/Saturday nights... You will be less prone to receive shit service, cold food, and a million people obstructing your view while watching the movie.Originally posted by Cmarsh93zDon't Fuck with DFWmustangs...the most powerfull gang I have ever been a member of.

I've been to several different locations. I love it because it's not the most expensive place to see movies and no matter where you sit there is no one kicking the back of your chair. Food isn't the greatest but it'll do in a pinch and they can't screw up beer.
I do their retro movie nights quite a bit. I know it's cheaper to just buy the DVD if two or more people go but I like the experience.

If we go to a matinee, we'll go to Cinemark in Grapevine-cheapest ticket prices around. $4 for any movie/any age before 6 and they email concession coupons every week. Best deal in town.
That said, if we're going to a night show, I prefer Movie Tavern so we can drink (alcohol). I really like them and their rolling chairs.Token Split Tail
