Switched from an evo to an iPhone 4s on att. So far I like the ease of use on the apple. Evo had a larger screen but overall I think I like the apple better. Everything just seems to work better.

The hspa+ AT&T 3G seems faster on the iPhone than sprint 4g on my evo......

I have always been more of an Android fan than Iphone, but I have yet to find an Android phone with any battery life whatsoever. Everyone that I have owned I generally have to charge it halfway through the day, even with only limited use.

How is the battery life on the Iphones??

I use mine pretty regularly throughout a ten hour work day, and it isn't below 20% charge by the time I get home. If I'm really cooking on it, I might throw it on my car charger at lunch, just to make sure it doesn't go dead right before I go home.

hmm.. that doesnt sound to bad, might have to check out the new Sprint Iphone when I get home. It just blows my mind with all the advances we have made in smartphone technology, we cant get one with a battery that lasts for shit.

I currently don't have high-speed at all, and don't surf much, but perhaps that's because it's so damn slow. I think that 3G would be perfectly fine for me, as I'm at my computer most of the time anyway, or on a laptop when flying. I suppose that might change with the new phone though, it can be a PITA to pull the laptop out at times, but I do prefer working with a full screen when dealing with spreadsheets and such, and a keyboard when replying to e-mail.

I went from the BB Curve, to the BB Bold, to the Samsung Galaxy S 4G. To this day I can't believe I drank the BB kool-aid for so long. VERY happy with the Android. I have T-mobile by the way. Your results may vary.

When the koolaid is free, it's hard to justify spending money on a replacement, but I'm at that point now.

I've been an iPhone user for several years and I've never been dissatisfied with it.

However the carrier, AT&T, has been a bitch at times.

My wife just got her first iPhone on Sprint's network. Of course it is slower at web browsing than any LTE device but it isn't exactly a slow either. I found it to give a pretty good quality feed for YouTube videos. However the real test will be tomorrow when we try watching NFL Sunday Ticket on it.

It looks as though the LTE issue is being corrected.

It won't be corrected for the iPhone until they offer an LTE version of it. I don't think we'll see it until next summer at the earliest.

If you use it a lot for work checkout a new Windows Phone 7. I had an iPhone for quite a while before I switched to my WP7, and while I did like the iPhone a lot I can now say that it wasn't nearly as supportive in everything I need to do for my job...the iPhone is geared more towards entertainment...the WP7 is geared more for getting things done quicker all in one place.

What I love about it is that it isn't so app dependant like the others....sure, the apps are there when you need them, but the interface works in a way that it places your data ahead of the apps, so that you're not having to constantly open individual apps to get to what you need. It's hard to explain without seeing it in-person but I'll tell you I've become a huge fan of the layout.

Checkout some of the reviews online...the new 7.5 OS (Mango) really added some cool features too. One of my favorites is speech recognition and interpretive texting....I can hit one button and speak my msg to send or reply to text msgs...a huge plus when you are driving.

Not that it would matter for your BMW, but Mango now fully integrates with Sync Audio systems in all new Ford's (beyond just Bluetooth for phone calls)....you can send texts right from your steering wheel controls and speech recognition....GPS, Bing, and Google search the same way as well. In my wife's new Flex with the GPS screen, it acts just about like a screen extender for your phone....when someone is calling their picture even pops up on the screen along with their phone number.
