Best smart-phone out now?

I've been considering upgrading for a while, as I'm getting tired of my Blackberry, and the last Rim outage sealed the deal.

I'm not an Appple fanboi by any means, but the new iphone 4s looks to be getting rave reviews, so I'm considering picking one up once the new-release rush dies down. What other comparable phones are out there? I've heard great things about Android as well, but have no experience with it.

iPhones are great. I've made the switch to android twice and always regretted it and moved back to an iPhone.

I have no experience with any other Smartphones, but my iPhone4 does everything I need it to. Only issue I've had with it are some dropped calls.

I'm also an iPhone owner. I've used android phones, and even have an android based tablet, but overall I prefer the ease of use and the smoothness of the iPhone and iOS.

OK if you have zero expirience with smartphones aside from a blackberry then the iphone is a great phone but it has limitations. Its real easy to use and is does everything very smoothly. Typical Apple quality.

If you want to be able to mod you phone, have bigger screens, faster performance, able to download 3rd party apps then get you an Android phone.

I just sold my iphone 4s and went back to my galaxy s2

I had no issues with my iphone 4 that would sway me from getting another, but when I went to Sprint, I got an EVO. I love the phone, and the unlimited call/data plans. I wouldn't switch back to an iphone unless my EVO died and I couldn't get it replaced under warranty.
