Not really bitching, but just curious to why gas prices have jumped 50 cents in the past 2 weeks....I don't keep up with the news, is there another oil spill or 'turmoil' in the middle east?

There is a huge spill in NZ right now I think, but I don't know either. It seemed to jump 25 cents overnight.

I got gas for 3.19 at race track and right across the street at albertsons it was 3.49 WTF

I like how gas immediately skyrockets when oil prices go up, but when oil prices go down the price falls 1 cent every few days or so.
