Has anyone ever participated in a vanpool? I was thinking of utilizing one that runs in my town. Looking to cut some costs and this could save me about $200 a month.

That's the thing about DFW. Almost everyone has to travel a million miles in different directions to get to work. That's why the HOV lanes are fucking empty and every other lane of traffic for miles is a parking lot. Brilliant!

Yup. It is a bitch at specific times in the morning. I drive on the highway all the way downtown 25 miles each way. 175 isn't nearly as busy as coming in on 30.

personally i would concentrate on saving money in other areas before going that route
