Good luck getting paid legally, unless things have changed recently, Texas won't take recourse to force payment even if a judgment is awarded.

You also didn't mention that any contract was signed, if it was just her word, your only hope is that somebody in nthe family steps up. They never had the $4k to begin with, and were just wanting to get out from under the upside down note at your expense.

It's not that 4gs is chump change, and scammers are among the lowest of the low. It's more that her parents aren't and shouldn't be considered responsible for what their daughter does once she's supposedly grown up, and I for one wouldn't take money from them to correct her screw-up. That's just going to enable her to do it to someone else in the future.

Well i'm your average joe.. I work 55-60 hours a week. have a family and a 7 year old son.. ran into some medical bills and need this money if possible.. if i cant collect ill find a way of course but its still my money... dfwm has been quite the powerfull gang when it comes to someone getting fucked over and i need a little help right now.. by no means am i asking for a handout or cash from boardmembers (aside from badjimmyhat who owes me $100).. just want what is owed to me.
