I've been wearing contacts since I took a high and tight fastball off the right eye back in 91/92.

Have to go in to a specialist because they think I have the beginnings of glaucoma.

I have mild glaucoma.

If you need them all the time, I highly recommed two pairs, the transition lenses suck if you are in a car because they need the UV to change colors, and most auto glass is uv shielded so they dont change/get dark enough.

Very true. I wanted transitions because I only use mine for driving, and found out what a waste they are in the car.

Transition glasses suck unless you live in a brite COLD enviroment. one thing they forget to tell you is the heat will affect the lenses from transitioning. Here in the dirt box my 500.00 transition Versace glasses are worthless... In Europe they worked Awesome...

As for glasses and getting used to them, having the clearest view was enough for me to forget about having them on... Lighter glasses do help, but after 2 months in the military with BCG's, anything lighter than a tank is "light" to me... those BCG's weigh about 5 lbs...

(BCG's for those non military are "Birth Control Glasses", cause if your wearing them, you sure as fuck ain't getting laid)

I used to have eye drops to use, but one of the side effects is that it could change your eye color from Green or Blue to Brown. I stopped using it because I didn't want to lose my pretty eyes. It's about all I have to hang on to after losing my hair.

Hey, I still drive once or twice a month! Just yesterday I went to the store to refill my nitroglycerin inhaler and noticed that I still had a full tank from filling up in August...
