4X4 diesel would be my choice. I tow a jet ski twice a year, live in an area where there is a dirt road, and I can afford $850 monthly payments. Plus, the diesel motor will last for 100K+ miles.

LOL I agree you with you 100%. I'd love to find a 2000 to 2003 F150 single cab 4x4 with decent mileage. I'd buy that in a heart beat to satisfy my truck need and then I'd go buy a used corvette to put in the garage.

The bigger problem is I'm a tight ass and been saving every penny I make for the better part of the last 10 years. If I don't splurge and buy something now I never will. Especially if my wife and I have a baby.

The other problem is I'm a perfectionist and I know those seats are going to drive me up the fucking wall. But I blame it on Ford Marketing and selling the idea that King Ranch is a status symbol and I want one anyways lol. I know call me crazy.

I understand, I think you and I are birds of a feather when it comes to being tight asses and I do splurge occasionally.

Lets not forget when making this little purchase that thiefs love.......and I mean loveeeeee to steal these and gut them. I have also heard that they are terrible to maintain from two former King Ranch owners. I have also wanted one for a while. My biggest problem would be keeping the wife out of it. She has offered on more then one occasion to trade her new Versa for my 02 F250 CC. I should have never let her drive it. LOL

I've been looking at 2008 F250 4x4s with leather, I don't need a lot of bells and whistles, but I hate cloth interior. There just aren't a lot out there that aren't beat to shit or have outrageous miles on em.

I would personally want the FX4 package with EB. Much more subtle and nice interior with none of that shitty fake wood and it comes with the off road package.

I don't need the automatic ass wiper and leather seats. I don't know why anyone would want the Ecoboost when I'm getting 24.x mpg on the highway and can outrun the Ecoboost.

My boss has an 11 FX4 Diesel and the inside is very nice and the leather is great too.

I've had a King Ranch F-250 and talked him out of it when he picked this one out. I actually like the way most of the King Ranches Look Inside and out but hated taking care of that leather.

You arent outrunning an ecoboost unless it's at a gearing disadvantage over your truck.

My ride is an 07 F250 Lariat with the FX4. Black with a silver stripe along the bottom and over the wheel wells. Dig the hell out of that truck!

Though now that I've been driving hers I'm kind of wanting a sunroof in it...

the cloth in these trucks is nasty... ugly 2 tone shit IMO.

Just keep looking, they're out there. I got mine for $21.5k
