Which of the two would you chose personally and why? Opinion on which looks better to you is fine, but any other reasons? Just asking as they are pretty much the exact same price range now...

I love the Z06 roofline. The C6 is an all around better car for everyday driving and they are about the same performance. My heart says Z06 but my brain says C6.When the government pays, the government controls.Comment

I had a c5 Zo6 and with just a cam the car put down 440rwhp. The fastest time down the 1/4th my no driving ass pulled off on street tires was an 11.4@127.
I've had many cars in my day and the zo6 was by far my favorite.
They're lighter then a c6 btw.Comment

I was in the same boat as you before and you saw what choice I made.
A nice c5 z06 can be had for around $18k nowadays.
A nice c6 will run > $18k(stay away from the 05-06's as well).

Here is a pretty good example...asking $19.5k obo.
I've owned a 2001 as well and it did have the notorious blow-by, but it really wasn't a big deal to me.
