    Where to take out of towners on Friday around Dallas

    Sister in law and her husband are coming in on Friday, what would you suggest to do during the day? We have only lived here a few years so wanted to see what some of you lifers suggest.

          You can go to he State Fair, lots of shit to see and do.
          The Dallas Arboretum is very nice this time if year.
          The Dallas Aquarium is kickass and has a few bars and places to eat or you can eat anywhere in the westend or uptown area afterwards.

                        Also, take them to Cowtown in the Ft. Worth Stockyards to watch the 'cattle drive' with the longhorns. They do it twice daily. If you can, hang out downtown at night-it's gorgeous! If they like beer, hang out at the Flying Saucer downtown while you're there.

                            Take them to Grapevine and get on the Tarantula and ride into Ft.Worth and do what Leah recommended in the stockyards.
