I swear I just pulled up the address on Google Earth and I believe I see it sitting next to a tree in the parking lot of the apartment complex....unbelievable

For our efforts you should post your wife/GF's boobs as a payment.

You're also right...however...my wife would be more than unhappy with me for that! I do owe the guys that sent me the leads a beer for sure.

I called my dad to tell him I had a good lead on the truck and he said "I'm going right now!". LOL, he literally left the house and got in the truck as soon as I told him. Think he feels bad? Heh.

I've wanted and tried to tracj down my first stang. I never registered it and I sold it to someone off the old board at like 2 in the morning at a uhaul storage in watauga. I've pm'd everyone that had pm'd me about the car when it was listed and have gone through all my records but couldn't ever find anything. The only thing that would link me to that car would be the tickets I got in it but I don't know how you get the vin from that?

Quick update: Dad went by and the guy has moved! Bummer. However he asked the next door neighbor and since the Google Earth picture the truck has been repainted in what was probably the original color, a light green. The guy moved just a few months ago so I'm still looking.

Again, I really appreciate the help and if somehow anyone knows the guy (see above) please let me know. I now have the ability to restore it and store it at my place in Decatur and of course would like to have my old classic chevy back.

It has been fun remembering all the stuff I sort of forgot. It had some sweet Fultron speakers in it that I bought at a garage sale, I went on my first "real" date in that truck, went to my first pasture party in it..lol. It had vacuum windshield wipers that basically stopped when your foot was on the gas and all those cool vents that you could open up. I worked for two weeks to put new tires on it and repair the floorboard. I gotta find that thing!

Try not to get too excited though, he may have no desire to sell.

If your dad finds it, and buys it, you gonna have to give back the guns and car?

The battery on it was dead and it needed the stator replaced, and an electrician that came to do some work on the house looked at it, claimed the motor was FUBAR and that he'd like to buy it as a "parts" atv. I about shit a brick when dad called and said he had 100 bucks for me for the 4 grand ATV he had just sold. never did get that ATV back but pops gave me some guns and a car and we called it even. i still harass him to this day about letting some stupid electrician con him.
