Having done A/V for years I would say Panasonic as alot of their boards are not Pioneer Elite internals as they bought them out. I currently own a 50" Samsung Plasma, a 58" Samsung Plasma and a 40" Samsung LCD and can tell you they all suck compared to the Panasonic Plasmas!

Buy a plasma if motion blur pisses you off. If you have a Sams Club card, you can get a Samsung 720p 55" plasma for $600 new. Dont get caught up in 1080p vs 720p bullshit.

Pioneer is not in the TV market anymore. There boards are in the upper end Panasonic tv's! However you can buy an older model!

Quality products, bought the 42 at walmart for a little over $600 and the LED at frys for $1499 on sale a few months ago.

I also have had a 26inch Polaroid 720P for the kitchen that is almost 7 years old with no problems. It has survived a robbery in my last living situation that was slammed up against the wall on its way out the door to homie's volvo.
