They were supposed to stop production last year.

It's funny because they used to be the best on the market as far as picture quality and longevity, but they were always priced higher than the Sonys and Samsung of the world. In all the years I was filing claims, I maybe filed 5 Pioneer claims. Samsung and Sony are like 5 per week per company.

Samsung, the mother board fried on the TV. They sent a technician to my house, fixed everything and gave me another two year warranty. Top notch customer service. The phone call last all of about five minutes, and it was the only time I had to call them.

Do not buy a Sharp, the picture looks like crap.

I was close to buying one until i actually went to the store to check it out.
Yeah they are cheaper( which is why i wanted to get one ) but the picture quality is ass if you look at it side to side with another brand.

I own a 60inch Sony LED, no issues. Samsung is a great brand also. I owned a Vizio 42 inch plasma back in 07. Another decent brand that i was surprised with.

Dont get a 3d tv unless you feel like wearing retarded glasses all the time.

It would be cheaper to buy your tv online, but i was in the same boat with you and just went to the store instead.
