Jobs had a big influence on the tech careers of a lot of geeks. Many don't even realize it. Steve and Woz made computers personal. The Apple IIe was in nearly every school when I was a youngster. They made the mouse common place. There are very few in this world that can say that they changed it. Steve Jobs was one that genuinely could.Comment

Sad day for all tech fans even if they don't know why. I grew up using an Apple IIc, then a 2e. Steve Jobs and Wozniak dared to challenge the great IBM and its clones to do something different. A LOT of people are glad they did. Those who haven't used anything Apple...they won't get it and don't care.
