http://www.wfaa.com/news/entertainme...111222794.html GARLAND — Chuck Norris is now a real-life Texas Ranger. Gov. Rick Perry on Thursday officially designated the actor and director as an honorary member of the state's elite crime-fighting agency. Norris, of course, starred in the TV series "Walker, Texas Ranger" for eight years. Much of the program was filmed in North Texas. The karate champion was a big supporter of Perry during his recent re-election campaign. Norris' younger brother Aaron, an executive producer of the show, was also made an honorary Ranger.
