awww that's why he thinks H&S is the only way to go. I get it now. But I'm stating facts about the power stuff. Hell people post numbers all the time on the powerstroke forums and every time spartan always make the most hp and tq numbers. The fastest trucks in the nation mostly run spartan tuners. Rudy's diesel truck is the fastest 6.4 and he runs that with spartan 350 tune. But like I said any tuner will work for what you want. But if you ever get the itch to make a lot more power, spartan is the only way to go.

Its not going to be a pissing match again, I know what has been tested, and I know what I would buy. Your tuner is great, no doubt about it but how much does each one of those extra power levels cost you? Righhhhtttt

Actually I only spent 100 buck for all the tunes above the 250 tune. With the new update from spartan I got the 350 tune for free.

We've gotten in a LOT of busses here lately that are Ford chassis cabs with the 6.7 in them. I already do not like them and I haven't had to turn a wrench on one yet.
1. You can't hardly get to the engine belt without taking a lot of things out of the way.
2. The belt is a double sided belt which makes it next to impossible to match up model numbers when 2 extra A/C compressors are added to the mix.
3. We have already sent 3 of them to a local Ford dealer because of check engine lights, and all of these busses we get in have less than 500 miles on them.
4. We had one today dumping Urea fluid on the shop floor for some reason.
5. They have 2 seperate cooling systems. It's just a matter of time before one runs low on coolant and some idiot checks the wrong cooling system.
6. You can't take the cabs off of these busses without doing body work.

I completely understand. It's easy for an employee or even ex-employee to have a bias towards a particular product.
I am very familiar with the H&S stuff. And I know that if I have any issues, I can get them resolved quickly and easily.
As I stated before, I'm not looking to make the most power. I like the mini because it'll make plenty of power for me, and all of the different monitoring and display stuff and the on-the fly adjustability.
My goal is to have a decent running truck that gets decent mileage and holds together. being more powerful or faster than somebody else in my heavy ass 1 ton service truck just isn't really on my radar

I was faster than a lot of people when I had a 500+rwhp truck 6-7yrs ago.
but as it became easier and easier to make that kind of power and as people made more and more (and broke more and more) I realized that I was quite content being around that level.
I just HATE that sinking feeling of money-loss when something breaks. So I really try to play it somewhat conservative with anything diesel performance related

Do you still have warranty on the truck or came with any warranty? If not get rid of the EGR cooler and add a CFM elbow.
