A buddy of mine got layed off recently. He travels a lot for this company and is constantly out of town. He lives here in Texas and his Boss lives in California. Anyways..he went to Cali for a job for 2 weeks and then flew back to DF/W. Gets home and then recieves a text message to check his e-mail. He checks his e-mail and finds orders to head back to the Airport and await final orders. He gets there...goes through security check and waits for 2 hours before being greeted by his boss. The boss that he has only seen 2 diferent times through video conferencing. They get a drink at the bar and then his boss starts telling him that they need to trim the fat and he is not in their plans going forward. My buddy asked why did he not tell him that 3 hours ago and saved him the trouble. The boss replied that it has to be done f2f and this was the safest way seeing that he cannot get a gun/weapon through airport security.
