Then find the station that their not a big sponsor of and throw the other stations under the bus also for not following up on the story because of their financial liason.

Autobahn's silent partners are the Bass's. I dont think anyone in DFW has more pull than them.

It does not matter if there is more to the story, and it's not just the actions of one dumbass.
Bottom line is that someone dropped their car -model does not actually matter- off at a dealership and then that car was severely damaged while under the care of said dealership.
It speaks volumes of the poor character of all involved in trying to cover it up and then trying to screw the owner.

They took his M series and did some retarded shit and hit the curb at about 65mph and ripped a shock in half, bent the frame, etc. When he came to get it, Autobahn said "There was an issue, but we'll fix it. It's mostly just a wheel and shock so we'll fix that." When he disputed it (he actually looked at the car) they flipped. He wanted a second opinion on the car and they refused to release it. Long story short:

He has an M series he can't drive and the dealership who was supposed to change the oil said fuck you

He was offered a new m5 a long time ago. The owner also made a donation to his charity in the amount of a new m5 ($76k)since the money used to buy the car was hazard duty pay overseas. That's posted on the m5 board with a scanned copy of the check.

NO, they offered to pay him a token amount with half of it being donated to a charity of THEIR choice. The point was to make him look bad if he didn't take it and allow them to write off the payment as a charity donation on their taxes if he did. I've been keeping up with this case myself.

When he got it home he found out that one of the rims was bent and the rotors were warped, not to mention the brake pads were worn down. Things a normal dealership would fix before selling it, or at the VERY least disclose. Needless to say, he was pissed, and tried to take it back the next day after he found out about the aforementioned M5 incident that they wouldn't get fixed. He got there, they gave him shit, and he told them how he saw the story online about the other guy's wrecked M5, and if they didn't replace his wheel, rotors, and brakepads, he was going to be a character witness for the other guy at the trial. They fixed it real quick.
Not to take the dealer's side at all, they sound shady as hell, but how did he not feel the warped rotors the minute he pulled to the first stop light on the test drive? Did he not take it on the highway for a quick test at cruising speed?

He test drove it, then went back a couple weeks later and they had replaced the tires right after he test drove it, probably over-tightening the lugs. He didn't notice the new tires before signing on the dotted line, because he test drove it two weeks before.

I think there was a bent wheel mentioned also. Maybe they let the same tech that wrecked the other guy's M5 replace the tires on this one and he took it out for a road test and smacked a curb.
