Funny thing there, same exact thing came to us in the mail about a month or two after my car accident and my wife's car was totaled.

I had tried to cancel the insurance on one of my cars that I don't drive that just sits in the garage and was told by my old agent that in TX you have to have insurance on any car you own whether it is driven or not. In CA you could file for a 'non-operation' certificate so you didn't have to pay registration penalties or insurance on it. Anything like that here?

Never heard that. I add and remove vehicles from my insurance all the time and my Allstate agent never gives me any trouble.

No, she took it off since it wasnt going to moved off base,so she was told. I believe they told her that it would have 6 miles put on it by the time she returns. Dont know how thats possible. Ive informed her to find out whats going on. I just find it strange shes received this letter.
