I just got a letter from the state.

It goes to show that our tax dollars are hard at work. The Texas Department of Insurance sent me a letter inquiring about the insurance policy on my '80 Datsun 280zx that had lapsed. WTF!!!

The letter wants me to submit my info to Texas Sure to let them know the situation with my vehicle:
1. Out of service
2. Recently sold
3. Vehicle is insured on a commercial policy
4. Vehicle is self insured and Texas Sure will verify with DPS.
5. Vehicle is insured on private policy and Texas Sure will verify with your company
6. There is another reason the vehicle doesn't require liability insurance

Are you fucking kidding me! NO I don't fucking have insurance on that god damn car. Leave me the fuck alone and get out of my personal business. Big brother looking over our shoulders and wasting our hard earned money.
