Damn. My wife and I picked up a pizza and headed out to the lake with our 3 year old to enjoy pizza, sunset, and rum! We were enjoying the view of the badass lightning storm when BAM! That shit came in fast. I was only a few miles from the marina but damn was that stressful. I could see the hard rain coming out of nowhere and sent my wife down below with my daughter and hauled ass to the marina. I couldn't see the bow of the boat at all it was raining so hard and we were getting 60mph wind gusts! That rain felt like nails hitting my face. That was rough and the first severe weather we have seen in the new boat. I'm glad that we got a good amount of rain though. No hail here in Lake Dallas though. Oh yeah, if someone needs 25 ice chests, 11 tubes/rafts, and a bunch of life jackets just go to Lakeview Marina... that crap was floating all over the place!
