Not that I disagree, $60 a year for what it buys is fine by me too.
The only thing I realize is if you have a Nations bank account, you are an old mofo.

Bank of America was a subsidiary to Bankamerica Corp, when Nations bought out BAC they changed everything over to the little bank's name for marketing purposes. They used BAC's charter to do all this.
Anyone who had a Nations account would have eventually seen it become a BoA account.

My mom was the HR Manager for NBC bank in Corpus when I was growing up, and we still opened my first account with Nations Bank back then.

I assume you can't use USAA if you or anyone in your family isn't military correct?
I find it amazing congress is passing the fees on to the consumer instead of the businesses.... atleast its a write off for the businesses. They want consumers to spend money to stimulate the economy, yet they continue to find ways to charge us to spend OUR money. What a bunch of assholes.

It is a requirement to have someone whom is currently or was active military to open a USAA account? My dad was in the Air Force 30 years ago? Wish they had a banking center closer.. Same with TTCU.
I need free checking/savings/debit/college student/always broke/poor ass account. BofA dropped my campus edge checking, $12+$5 a month is rape when every penny counts when you don't qualify for any grants and are paying your own way through! Fuck student loans!

I considered the e-banking but I find my self using the drive thru or going inside due to their atms not accepting checks or cash deposits frequently! That alone pisses me off it happens so many times.
Chase doesn't seem to offer much more.
The best option I have been seeing is having my parents open a new account linked to theirs. Hmmm. Now if only the would do that lol!
