          i was wanting to do the same thing when i wrecked my Bullitt.... i ended up parting the car out.

          i thought about it and its not worth the time or effort in swapping it.

                  It is possible. You'll need to get an auto theft investigator to do a rebuild inspection. Tarrant Auto Theft Task Force does this as well as DPS Auto Theft. The form you need is a TxDOT 68-a. Call either place and tel 'em you need a 68a inspection then tell 'em what you plan on doing and get their advice.

                  Understand that rebuilt cars with a reassigned VIN are worth jack at resale.
