Prayers out, little brother. I'm sure he'll be fine. Us old guys are pretty tough. Maybe he won't wait so long next time he's hurting. I had emergencey surgery several years ago when a hernia ruptured on me, and it would have been a day-surgery procedure had I not put it off.

I wouldnt worry to much. As the doctors said...this happens from time to time. The NG tube is just to keep all the acid and what not out of his stomach. The NG tube is probably the worst part of it all. He just needs some rest and the body will sort itself out. I have seen this happen a few times..it will usually resolve in a day or two.

Okay. So he is doing better pain wise but the doctors are waiting for him to pass gas before they remove the tube from his throat. He said thats probably the worst thing right now. Im gonna go up there again to hang out with him tomorrow. Maybe watch the UT game with him. Hopefully he'll fart up a storm.
