  • Forgetting your child

Is it really that common for parents to forget they've got a kid in the backseat and just leave them in the car?

I find this hard to believe.

Yeah. Drugs lead to wonderous mishaps.

I find it very hard to believe. It's damn near impossible for me to forget my son is in the backseat, so I think it's bullshit.

If I ever have a kid I hope that I never forget it.

I'd rather just never know about it in the first place.

It's all bs, although sometimes when driving I have wondered if we even put our little guy in the car seat since he is soo quiet

If your kid isnt priority 1, you are doing it wrong.

                    This.

There was a time when I would turn off the radio to listen to my car loping at a stop light or singing to me on the highway. Now I turn off the radio to listen to my 7 month old boy 'talking' while I'm driving.

I really don't see how there can be ANYTHING more important to a parent than their child, no matter how busy they may be that day.

Man I had a gf that always used to correct me anytime I called a small child an it.

Wow, Elvis and I actually agree on something for a change.

Forgetting your kid is like forgetting to breathe, it just doesn't happen.

What started this thought was a news story i caught where a hospital started a Backseat Buddy program. This program was a little stuffed teddy bear that you clipped to your car kys to remind you that there was a kid with you.

I'd use it as a sign that anyone interested in that program would get a visit by CPS by the time they got home.

Sometimes it just takes a little tidy-cat to remind folks.

Reminds me of the chick I was sport fucking....

Kids would be at home after school she would say she was busy all awhile we were fucking at my place for hours, then she would go home around 8-9pm.

Calling them before she left saying I'm on my way home and asking if her husband was home yet.

She had four kids oldest was 13 and youngest 4.

She doesn't care about them she said they drive her crazy. Guess I helped her release that stress
