It's well documented, you seriously want me to google it for you? Legalizing pot would bring down the established government? I think you're overestimating the initiative of the stoners, though thought of the entire system crashing and burning makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside.

The bad thing is that with over 18 years on the street, my only interactions with drugs have been with the stupid ones, so it taints my view.

I've never smoked a cigarette, or weed, so I'm coming from a point of view that is sheltered.

Yeah, absolutely - I can see that for sure. I won't get into details, but I have seen the low end when I was a kid. Now that I'm in a professional field I see the other side. It's all very similar to alcohol, alcoholism and all that BS.

Plus, I'd be willing to assume to some extent that most of the people you're dealing with have done or are doing a little more then just pot. Pot is the only drug I'm 100% behind legalizing. All the others, their arguments and such are another thread.

I don't do any marijuana because of holding a clearance. What sucks is even if they legalized it, if the clearance process still forbade(sp?) I'd still have to not do it. Even w/o the clearance I did not, since I want to be able to get a clearance refreshed or whatever and a DUI/possession charge...etc would not help that cause at all. (plenty more, but unlike willie, I can't afford a single DUI/possession charge is what it all boils down to.)

So do you know what exactly Willie has done? Willie is just helping to give back what this country has given to him for his talents when he's high. He's not the only one, and he shouldn't be given a "free ride" because he's done some good. Have you forgotten about his tax evasion charges? How did that "help" our country?

Hell, I've helped hundreds of people over my 23 years of service, but if I went out and got caught with 6 oz of weed, I'm sure I'd be held responsible.

Its the law & he broke it! But its one of the many laws in this country that I dont agree with. Drunks kill more people then Potheads, Weed is going to be legal here shortly. They where just fucking with the old man to fuck witih him cause they had a good hunch he would have some weed GOD FORBID! A plant that grows out of soil that you can pretty much roll up & smoke. Not like other hard drugs that have to be cooked & made from Plants.
