I stopped Toby Kieth's tour bus a couple of years back.

They have the driver trained to meet the officer at the back. As soon as I stopped and got out, the driver had met me at the back corner of the bus with the door shut so I could not have a vantage point to see/smell at the door.

Toby was not on the bus at the time, but had flown to Galveston for the next show. The bus was on it's way to either Granbury or Burleson where his drummer lives.

That doesn't work at the Sierra Blanca checkpoint, they will look inside.

No one found with 6 ounces of weed is going to be let off. That's 1.5 times the requirement for felony possession.

It's plenty simple, but who he is shouldn't have any bearing on his arrest. I don't think anyone should be taken to jail for possession of marijuana, whether 77 or 27, but that doesn't mean that he shouldn't go to jail under the current laws if he is in possession and puts himself in a position for an officer to discover that he is.

I agree with you there. The law is the law & we should abide by it! But also have seen breaks given to friends & myself where I just dumped it out on the side of the road!

Of course 6 ounces is going to be hard to just dump out LOL, My point is its pretty obvious that Willie is a Pro Pot Head & if I was a betting man I would put money if I pulled his Bus over there is a good chance he might have some Weed on him.
